The name Just Born comes from when the company founder, Sam Born, put a display in his shop window  showcasing his daily made sweets that he termed as “just born.”

In the beginning. there were Mike & Ike Original Fruits. Those little pellets of orange, strawberry, cherry, lemon and lime are still the favourites of many lolly-lovers today.

The exact set of ingredients varies from flavour to flavour however the Original Fruits variety contains the following ingredients:

Sugar, Corn Syrup, Modified Corn Starch, Fruit Juice from concentrate (Pear, Orange, Strawberry, Cherry, Lime, Lemon), Funmaric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Natural and Artificial Flavours, Corn Dextrin, Citric Acid, Malic Acid, Shellac, Carnauba Wax, Modified Coconut and/or Palm Kernel Oil (Medium Chain Triglycerides), Colours (Allura Red, Sunset Yellow FCF, Tartrazine, Brilliant Blue FCF). Gluten free.
